Jenna Butler is the founding editor of Rubicon Press. She makes her home in Edmonton, Alberta, where she teaches creative writing at Grant MacEwan University. Butler has edited more than thirty books of poetry in Canada and England, and is the author of eight short collections. Her first trade book, Aphelion (NeWest Press, 2010), won the CAA Exporting Alberta Award and was shortlisted for Poetry Book of the Year; the second, Wells (University of Alberta Press, 2012), was launched by the CBC as a featured book during National Poetry Month. Seldom Seen Road, her latest book, will appear with NeWest Press in 2013.
